When we compress the air, this water concentration increases even more. For example, a compressor operating at 7 bar and a capacity of 200 l\/s compressing air at 20\u02daC with a relative humidity of 80% will release approximately 10 liters of water per hour into the compressed air line. Adsorption dryers are ideal for applications requiring extremely dry air, with typical dew points as low as -40\u00b0C.<\/p>\n<p>There are several types of adsorption dryers, each with specific characteristics and applications:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><strong>5.1. Purge Regenerated Adsorption Dryers:<\/strong> Also known as &#8220;cold regenerated dryers,&#8221; these dryers are suitable for small air flow rates. In addition to removing moisture, membrane dryers can separate the components of a gas, making them useful in the manufacture of nitrogen generators and other industrial applications.
